This song gets to me. I don't want to be so busy chasing success in ministry, church planting, and/or whatever that I look back on my life and see I didn't take time to be a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend.
I will keep my eyes on Christ, my family, and my life. And I will let Jesus keep his eyes on his bride - the church.
My friends showed me pictures of his kids,
All I could show him were pictures of my cribs.
He said his daughter got a brand-new report card,
