Organic Community [Book Review]

This book is a follow up to Joesph Myers' first book, Search to Belong. It puts some arms and legs on how to belong by cultivate Organic Communities.

The majority of the book spoke to the difference of a Master Plan and Organic order.

SUBJECT | MASTER PLAN vs. ORGANIC ORDER |
Patterns | Prescriptive vs. Descriptive
Participation | Representative vs. Individual
Coordination | Cooperation vs. Collaboration
Growth | Bankruptcy vs. Sustainability
Measurement | Bottom Line vs. Story
Power | Positional vs. Revolving
Partners | Accountability vs. Edit-ability
Language | Noun-centric vs. Verb-centric
Resources | Scarcity vs. Abundancy
Joesph Myers has been a huge influence and has caused me to re:think the way I was planting Renovo.

About this blog...

This space is where I get to share my thoughts, my life, and my loves. For my friends, family, and foes to connect with and shape me. A place to explore faith, hope and love. A break in the day to laugh, cry, think, and challenge the status quo. Where the ordinary can be extraordinary and the divine can be found in the dullness of life.

Grace and peace,

Kevin Rush
